Bruce Springsteen: Wrecking Ball

3.

I like the opening track- "We take care of our own"

The rest is predictable and boring. Nobody loves The Boss more than I, but he just puts out too much stuff. He's like the Robert Pollard of major label artists. I'm not even sure Bruce enjoys all of his records, I think he just keeps ahead of himself, releasing every song he records and why not, he's a cash cow. I am under the assumption that these recent albums are reasons to tour, more than a need for Springsteen to express his emotions. I mean, what else is The Boss gonna write about these days? He's done so much as a lyricist, songwriter and political activist. I'm sure many hard-core fans will find ways to justify liking anything he puts out, but when I listen, it just makes me want to go back to the classics. Sorry Bruce, I'm not in love with this one.
