Very active in this lockdown period, as far as online recoveries are concerned, the ex-members of the Sonic Youth continue to put rarity and unpublished on the net. Now it's the turn of Steve Shelley , who publishes online a work recorded in 2009 together with the spacepunx Disappears and the experimental White / light duo who remained in a drawer for ten years.
After escaping from an afternoon session with a free rein, in which ours launched themselves into raids without rules, the eight pieces of the disc have a high impact avant rock shot, moving between psychedelic assaults, environmental rarefactions and desert expanses, all enriched by electronic raids by Jeremy Lemos and Matt Clark . Unfortunately the dissolution of the Disappears put aside the idea of publication, but during the quarantine, you know, the time available is a lot, and so Shelley has resurrected the old masters making finally available to listen to this interesting collaboration on the Bandcamp of his Vampire Blues .
