Marius Billgobenson Invites Listeners to Step Into “IN PARADISE – Just Another Day

Internationally acclaimed smooth jazz artist Marius Billgobenson unveils his latest single, “IN PARADISE – Just Another Day”, a soulful and rhythmic celebration of resilience, healing, and joy. With his signature blend of jazz, R&B, and Congolese influences, Billgobenson offers a radiant reminder that even amid uncertainty, there’s beauty in the everyday.

Produced by GRAMMY-winning legend Paul Brown, the track brings together a world-class lineup of musicians including Tony Braunagel (drums), David Garfield (keys), Shane Theriot (guitars), and Freddie Washington (bass) to deliver an effortless groove rich in warmth, hope, and lyrical soul-searching. Marius’s magnetic vocals and emotive guitar work are on full display, evoking the spirit of artists like George Benson and Gregory Porter while carving a lane that’s entirely his own.

Filmed by Alex Brown, the official video transports viewers into a lush, dreamlike landscape that reflects the song’s central message, finding joy, purpose, and connection in the moments that matter. It’s a visual and sonic escape that invites us to rise with the sun, work with intention, and let our dreams guide the way forward.

The new single follows the success of “A Little Bit of Honey,” which charted in the top 3 R&B/Soul songs in Canada and earned Marius a finalist nomination at the 2024 World Songwriting Awards. With “IN PARADISE – Just Another Day” he continues to build on a deeply personal yet globally resonant body of work, one that explores vulnerability as a strength and music as a source of light.

Born in the Congo and now a global citizen of sound, Marius Billgobenson is a smooth jazz artist, humanitarian, and cultural ambassador whose music fuses African rhythms with jazz, soul, and storytelling. A vocal advocate for social justice and environmental awareness, he uses his platform to inspire empathy, unity, and transformative change. His songs, always personal, always powerful, remind us that in the face of hardship, art can still offer peace, connection, and paradise.

Brooke Moriber’s “Nashville in New York'' Returns to The Bitter End on March 9th featuring Ian Flanigan, Toby Lightman and Jon Stone

On Saturday March 9th at 7pm, join former Broadway star and current Reviver Records Country music sensation Brooke Moriber and friends at the legendary The Bitter End on Bleecker Street in NYC for the second installment of new bi-monthly Songwriters in the Round series “Nashville in New York”. Get tickets on The Bitter End’s website here.

The New York native and current Nashville resident will host and perform at this intimate acoustic storytellers style performance event, also featuring performances by songwriters Ian Flanigan, Toby Lightman and Jon Stone.

Brooke Moriber is a singer/songwriter who has paved an unconventional path for herself in Country music. After getting her start at a young age professionally as a native New Yorker performing on Broadway, Brooke turned to songwriting as a teenager to cope with losing her eyesight to a rare eye disease. When the disease went into remission after a difficult four years, Brooke began traveling to Nashville to tell her own stories, later signing with Nashville’s Reviver Records.

Praised for her “clarion voice” (Associated Press), Moriber’s music has been in rotation on many Music Choice channels and has been featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday Country playlist (“Little Bit of You”, “Down to Nothing”), CMT online and the Music Row Country Breakout radio chart. Recently, the New York City girl performed her hometown anthem “This Town Made Us” on Today in Nashville. Brooke’s self-titled debut album also features “Holy Ground”, a soulful duet with The Voice’s Ian Flanigan, who joins her on March 9th at The Bitter End. Brooke’s latest single Half A Heart is now available as well.

Singer/Songwriter Dan Zalles Recalibration Is Just What The World Needs: Fifteen Eclectic Songs to “Get You Through The Day”

Dan Zalles had an inkling of what his future path was going to look like as far back as middle school. During a woodshop class, his teacher gave him an F grade for constructing a salt shaker without following instructions. Zalles (pronounced ZAL-is) was later surprised to see that the same teacher had displayed the salt shaker as one of the best in the class. He learned a valuable lesson that day about following his instincts…

While it wouldn’t be fair to say that a contrarian streak runs through Zalles’ music, he's most certainly forged his own path. A Bay-Area music veteran who’s played punk, jazz fusion, garage, folk and rock, Zalles has a way of distilling decades’ worth of music into concise, relatable songs. His new album Recalibration combines the outsider individuality of DIY figures like R. Stevie Moore and Bob Pollard with the populist songwriting instincts of, say, Billy Joel, Springsteen and Sting.

Zalles also chafes at the “singer/songwriter” tag. Indeed, on top of his singing and guitar playing, we hear his creative signature on trumpet, drums, bass and keys. And you can see him wear his quirks on full display in the charmingly lo-fi video for “I’m Sorry for Saying I'm Sorry,” the well-mannered anthem the world didn’t know it needed. In fact, Recalibration is a master class in “looking for meaning in ordinary things'' — a line from the deep cut “Lumination High,” which showcases Zalles’ knack for giving his songs a redolent shine of pleasantness when the mood calls for it.

1. Recalibration

2. I’m Sorry for Saying I’m Sorry

3. Up in Neffs Canyon

4. Snowfall

5. Lifeline

6. Quantize Me

7. Five Four Guide

8. Lumination High

9. Onward

10. Privacy

11. Drama

12. Take It

13. Words

14. Meander With Me

15. Procession

Over the course of the album's 15 songs, Zalles (with help from his son on piano) flows freely between uptempo rock, surf, Americana, moody/atmospheric pop inspired by MTV’s ‘80s heyday, and even Mariachi folk. He also nails ordinary experience with unparalleled wit and grace. On the title track, for example, Zalles positively nails it when he asks “Can your neighbors count the ways / that get you through the day?” From start to finish, Recalibration offers exactly what its title describes — a slice-of-life dose of upliftment dressed up in a hearty variety of styles. It couldn’t come at a better time.

Now based in Utah’s Wasatch Mountains, Zalles has swerved between his concurrent careers as a musician and educator. Aside from his solo work, he has played and/or still plays in the bands British Wire Gauge (whose post-punk/proto-new wave gem “Product City” was featured in the fifth season of TNT's Animal Kingdom), Wayward Monks, The Outer Half, and Slide Dogs. He also gigs with his son regularly.

From New York to Nashville, Reviver Records Recording Artist Brooke Moriber Making Her Mark in Country Music

Born and bred NYC native and current Nashville resident Brooke Moriber is returning to her roots this winter for two special shows. First, the burgeoning young Country star will be playing on Thursday December 7th for the “Nash Meets Patch Honky-Tonk Showcase” presented by Planet Of Sound Promotions at 89 North in Patchogue, NY on Long Island.

Then after the new year, see Brooke perform as part of the new bi-monthly “Nashville in New York” Songwriters in the Round series, which will also feature Jeff Cohen, Kara DioGuardi and members of the 615 Collective including Sarah Darling, at the legendary The Bitter End on Bleeker Street in NYC on Saturday January 13th at 6:30pm.

Brooke Moriber is a singer/songwriter and native New Yorker who has paved an unconventional path for herself in Country music. After getting her start at a young age professionally performing on Broadway, Brooke turned to songwriting as a teenager to cope with losing her eyesight to a rare eye disease. When the disease went into remission after a difficult four years, Brooke began traveling to Nashville to tell her own stories. Praised for her “clarion voice” (Associated Press), she went on to release her first single “Cry Like A Girl” independently in 2019, and later signed with Nashville’s Reviver Records.

Moriber’s music has been in rotation on many Music Choice channels and has been featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday Country and Country Christmas playlists (“Little Bit of You”, “Down to Nothing”, “All I Want for Christmas is You”), CMT online, Music Choice Network and the Music Row Country Breakout radio chart. Brooke most recently released a self-titled album featuring “Holy Ground”, a soulful duet with The Voice’s Ian Flanigan.

The New York City girl performed her hometown anthem “This Town Made Us” on Today in Nashville and shared the stage with other young breakthrough artists including Dylan Scott and Caroline Jones. When she is not on the road, Moriber has been hard at work in Nashville with some of the industry’s top writers and producers, including Todd Lombardo and Craig Alvin (Kacey Musgraves), Karen Kosowski (Mickey Guyton) and David Pittenger (GAYLE, Parmalee). Hailed as a “stellar songwriter and a powerhouse vocalist” (Country Swag) and “a force to be reckoned with in Country music” (Celeb Secrets Country), Brooke is poised to take her place among the biggest voices in Country music.
