Mountain Climer Releases New Single “Paper Gowns” Out February 28

Jeremy Climer, the creative force behind Mountain Climer, unveils “Paper Gowns,” a gripping reflection on life’s final moments. Releasing on February 28th and produced by Paul Mahern (John Mellencamp, The Blake Babies), the track brings together an all-star lineup, including Heidi Lynne Gluck, Shannon Hayden, Devon Ashley, and David England, weaving a rich sonic tapestry of raw emotion and atmospheric instrumentation.

“Paper Gowns” explores the fleeting nature of time and the weight of past choices. Initially conceived as a slow ballad, Mahern pushed the band to pick up the tempo, adding a sense of urgency that contrasts the song’s dark themes. “Shannon’s guitar work is like a little bit of sugar to help the medicine go down,” Climer notes.

The song emerged from a spontaneous and organic recording process—Climer entered the studio with only voice memo demos, trusting Mahern and his hand-picked musicians to build the songs in real-time. “We played like we had been a band for ten years,” Climer recalls. “To borrow Paul’s word, it was magical.”

In addition to releasing new music, Climer has launched a crowdfunding campaign to support the album Before You Turn Out the Lights, the full-length project that features “Paper Gowns.” Hosted on GiveSendGo, the campaign allows fans to contribute directly to the recording, production, and distribution efforts, helping bring this deeply personal collection of songs to life. Supporters can learn more and donate at GiveSendGo.com/BeforeYouTurnOutTheLights.

Jeremy Climer’s journey spans from small-town Indiana to cities across the country, shaped by his love of punk, alternative rock, and classic songwriting. His 2022 debut, I’m Not Enough & That’s Okay, was a deeply personal project that laid the groundwork for his evolution as Mountain Climer. In 2023, he released two EPs and a single, collaborating with Travis Dolan of Level 32 Studio in Denver.

With Paper Gowns, Climer continues his sonic exploration, pushing the boundaries of storytelling through music.

Brooke Moriber is a singer/songwriter and native New Yorker who has paved an unconventional path for herself in Country music. After getting her start at a young age professionally performing on Broadway, Brooke turned to songwriting as a teenager to cope with losing her eyesight to a rare eye disease. When the disease went into remission after a difficult four years, Brooke began traveling to Nashville to tell her own stories. Praised for her “clarion voice” (Associated press), she went on to release her first single “Cry Like A Girl” independently in 2019 and later signed with Nashville’s Reviver Records.

Brooke's music has been featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday Country (Half A Heart, Little Bit Of You, Down to Nothing) and Country Christmas playlists (All I Want for Christmas is You), Sirius XM's Velvet, CMT online, Music Choice Network and the Music Row Country Breakout radio chart. Hailed as a "stellar songwriter and a powerhouse vocalist" (Country Swag) and a "force to be reckoned with in Country music" (Celeb Secrets Country), Brooke has shared the stage with artists ranging from Cyndi Lauper and The Gin Blossoms to Dylan Scott and Caroline Jones.

Earlier this year, Brooke launched her bi-monthly “Nashville In New York” (NINY) songwriters series, hosting and performing in shows that have been selling out to crowds experiencing a Nashville style writers round at the iconic Bitter End in New York City, sponsored in part by Music Choice, KICKER Performance Audio, Lucchese, Suerte Tequila and Taylor Guitars.

Previous NINY shows have showcased the talents of Jeff Cohen, Kara DioGuardi, Ian Flanigan, Toby Lightman, Jon Stone and members of the 615 Collective (which includes tunesmiths Aaron Goodvin, Sarah Darling, Michael Logen and Nicole Witt).

This fall, on Saturday November 9th, NINY will return to The Bitter End on Bleecker Street in NYC for the fifth installment of the bi-monthly series. Brooke will, as always, host and perform at the intimate acoustic storytellers style performance event, with talented co-stars TBA.

Brooke also recently hosted and performed alongside acclaimed songwriters Randall Fowler, Matt Stell, and Erin Kinsey plus special guest star Kenya Reese with MC Jim Murphy from Music Choice Network at Wild Goose Saloon in Denver, CO for a special “Nashville in Denver” event.

When she is not bringing Nashville to New York or Denver or performing somewhere else on the road, Moriber is hard at work in the studio with some of the industry’s top writers and producers, including Todd Lombardo and Craig Alvin (Kacey Musgraves), Karen Kosowski (Mickey Guyton), David Pittenger (GAYLE, Parmalee) and currently working on a project with Sol Philcox Littlefield and preparing to go in to the studio with Emily Shackelton and Claire Wyndham to record a special collaboration as a trio.

SINGER-SONGWRITER LEANNE GALLATI RELEASES ULTIMATE BREAKUP ANTHEM "PARTY FOR ONE"

From Nancy Sinatra to Amy Winehouse to Olivia Rodrigo, there's a long tradition of empowering breakup songs in pop music. With "Party For One," Long Island-via-Brooklyn singer-songwriter Leanne Gallati once again puts her stamp on the form with an unforgettable sense of flair. Where other artists often focus on the despair and longing that can grip us in the aftermath of a relationship, Gallati is having none of it.

A kiss-off anthem for the ages, "Party For One" exudes unwavering confidence as Gallati sings lines In reality / I'm relieved / and suddenly / I'm stress-free. Sometimes, it's best to just cut the rope and realize that we're better off freeing ourselves from under the weight of a relationship that just isn't nourishing us.

"It’s easy to feel scared at the thought of walking away from someone important in your life," Gallati offers. "This song serves as a reminder that you can accomplish anything on your own, and that no one should be able to tell you how to live your life.”

Influenced by the likes of Winehouse, No Doubt, Sammy Rae & the Friends, HAIM, and Lake Street Dive, Gallati's jazz- and funk-inflected take on lost love adds a brassy touch of class to the fine art of walking away. Breaking up never felt so good — or catchy.

That's saying a lot, considering all those great songs that have given newly-single people a boost over the decades. But with "Party For One," Leanne Gallati claims her place at the table in decisive fashion.

Singer Songwriter Chris St. John Releases Contemplative Single “I Called You Rose”

2021 brings new talent to light without wait. Singer/Songwriter Chris St. John just released "I Called You Rose", the first single from his upcoming debut album- "I'm Dreaming". The song is a mix of stylistic flavors including soothing vocal tones reminiscent of James Taylor and Jackson Browne, as well as vintage country rock vibes like troubadours of the 1960's Gene Clark and John Martyn. It's a very tight and perfectly produced single with great harmonies, stellar arrangements and fantastic guitar solos. John's mellow mood and musicality is remarkably fresh and enticing for this brand of songwriting. It is not any sort of replica of previous artists but brings forth a new 'sound' to kickstart the new year. 2020 was all over the place and music listeners are in need of some focused direction.

For those who prefer softer and comforting singers that write lyrics we can all relate to, Chris St. John is here to swiftly provide that. I look forward to the full length which features 13 originals and a cover version of The Grateful Dead's "Ripple". The complete album release is expected in early February 2021.

“I Called You Rose was the last song I wrote for the album”, said St. John “It came fast and I could not get it out of my head. It’s a song about falling in love and breaking up – with alcohol. I like that it’s upbeat and has a happy ending. I pray this song for everyone who finds it hard to put the bottle down.”

Over the last quarter century, Singer/Songwriter (and former Judge) Chris St. John has truly led a diverse and successful professional career in the field of law. Now, his dream of lateral success in the music business is starting to become a reality, with the release of the instantly satisfying first single “I Called You Rose” available this Friday Jan 15th, 2021 on Spotify and all the major music services.

St. John has been a practicing attorney for 26 years; a former judge and prosecutor; worked in the State Department, participating in the Reagan-Gorbachev Summit in 1987; and lived, studied, and taught in China later that year. He was also a Congressional Aide and is now a volunteer firefighter.

In 2015, he and his friend started a not-for-profit charity called HALO Missions, which provides medical care, clothing, food, farming equipment, and surgeries for AIDS orphans and the extreme poor throughout Africa, Central America, and the Caribbean.

“My professional career is what I do. These songs are who I am. They are about my personal life. The songs have been written over about 30 years, with four new ones written in the last several months to finish up the album,” he added.

The topics include the loss of love at a young age; the loss of his parents; the birth of his son John (now 17) and life with his wife of 27 years Elisabeth; a surprise DNA discovery; a serious illness where he was put in a medically induced coma, and a nurse sang him back to life; the loss of a young relative in a car accident and the subsequent climb out of depression; alcohol addiction and recovery; and a gift from his grandmother that he intends to return to her someday.

“The title of the LP is ‘I’m Dreaming’ because some of these songs were dreamed up and written down when I awoke. And there are so many references to dreaming in the album. I guess I like to dream. People have told me I should write a book or make an album. This is both to me.”

The album will and individual songs can be downloaded for purchase from iTunes, Spotify, and all other musical platforms shortly. These first listens are offered as a gift.

From Beantown to Brooklyn - The Sebbalution!* Continues as Lil Sebby Releases Sebbrooklyn!*

Fresh off his impressive debut album, Lil Sebby is set to explode on the rap scene with his highly anticipated new single “Sebbrooklyn!*”. The song gives fans a small taste for what’s potentially in store for the star’s new direction but instead of sounding like an expansion of his previous album, it sounds like a smoother and tasty reboot. Listeners already have an idea of what a Lil Sebby song will sound like but “Sebbrooklyn!*” is more sophisticated and straightforward. His style is fresh and the flow just got funkier.

“Sebbrooklyn!*” stands out for its maximalist, slick and polished production. The single is a druggy kaleidoscope of timbres and textures, making room for psychedelic trap drums, hazy synth noises, haunted sound effects, Rihanna-esque vocal swells, futuristic start-stop song hits while remaining cohesive and sonically structured. “Sebbrooklyn!*” is a funhouse trip par excellence, and there are several cuts on the full length album that will surely still be heard booming from clubs, college parties and hiphop radio well into the future.

“Sebbrooklyn!*” is available now on Spotify, YouTube, Amazon, Apple Music and all the major services.

Boston born Lil Sebby is a Hip Hop artist who is quickly gaining international notoriety and positive acknowledgement from his peers. Now living in Brooklyn, New York, the auto-tune aficionado separates himself from others in the genre with a familiar yet unique twist to the game, regularly bringing exceptional lyrics and captivating live performances to the table. Whether you’re in the mood to jump up and party or just listen to Hip Hop with a spin, Lil Sebby is the ultimate showman.

Lil Sebby’s debut album release, “The Sebbalution!*”, exceeded all expectations, with strong streaming numbers and local buzz helping the record make its way around the underground scene. As a follow up, Sebby’s newest project, “Sebbrooklyn!*”, enters a genre many may find foreign for the 23-year old. While still incorporating his signature autotune and infectious hype, Lil Sebby finds himself tapping into the “drill music” scene for inspiration; providing a whole new outlook on Lil Sebby and his bright future.

During these chaotic and uncertain days, the musicians and artists take to the forefront to deliver messages of hope and optimism. Long Island based singer/songwriter/producer and living legend Teddy Wender released a magnificent new song and video- "Peace Will Come" today!

The tune offers lyrics about unity and positive vibes to calm and uplift your mood during these troubled times. What we need more of, are songs like this. A promise of a better future, hope that there will be more harmony and togetherness in the world, and the only way to get there is through love. Love always wins in the end.

In six months, our world has irreversibly changed. An invisible virus has ravaged the globe, devastating families and changing the way that humans have behaved since the dawn of time.

Yet despite these isolating and threatening circumstances, millions have come together to remind us that real change comes when we unite during difficult times. The time for peace, safety and equality for ALL people is right now.

“Peace Will Come” is an anthem of love, peace, equality, and hope. The love child of native New Yorkers, Teddy Wender and Neil Rosengarden, co-produced by Chris “The Fourz” Brown. The result of decades of friendship and brotherhood that can only be sustained by empathy, acceptance, and ultimately love.

The song implores us to stand beside our brothers and help them out when they are down, and warns us that unless we show a little kindness, we’re setting up for our demise. An essential and pertinent message for our quickly evolving world.

"With the nation being at such crossroads, with over 200,000 deaths due to the pandemic, resulting in millions of jobs lost, and a dramatic rise in racial injustice not seen since the 60’s, political polarization is at an all-time high, peace, love and understanding is all we need now. Emma Pierson Releases “Don’t Forget to Remember Me” Single/Video

Emma Pierson has released her debut single “Don’t Forget to Remember Me” in the midst of the maelstrom of Covid 19. It is an homage, in the style of Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande, to the value of memories and the relationship that must be fastened to preserve them.

Emma Pierson is a young, vital voice in the pop music pantheon, of precociousness beyond her years. She has a ratcheting sense of unease, coupled with her hope and optimism. "Don't Forget to Remember Me" offers powerful resolution in order to maintain relationships. She layers the emotions of missing people and dealing with loss poignantly, a performance that is beautifully crafted and delivers a powerful voice on the threshold of change.

Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Emma Pierson has been singing and writing song lyrics since the age of four. The natural-born performer, who was recognized with relative pitch early on, started her formal training at the prestigious Stages Music Arts when she was 9-years-old. Emma first worked with singer/songwriter and instructor Ashley Higginbotham, and soon began to pursue other musical outlets at Stages, including musical theater, as well as guitar with instructor Brennan McShane. She later joined a Beatles cover band, and went on to perform—alone and with her band—at various open mic nights and music festivals at Baltimore’s Union Collective.

At age 11, inspired by an upcoming move to Austin, Texas, Emma wrote and recorded her debut single, “Don’t Forget to Remember Me,” with the help of talented musicians and producers at Stages Music Arts. Ashley Higginbotham and Brennan McShane collaborated with Emma on the composition. Charles Simon, the General Manager at Stages, produced the sound recording along with engineer Dave Nachodsky, who recorded/mixed/mastered the song. Video work for the music video was done by Tim Szczesniak. Emma’s eventual move to Austin opened the doors for her to continue her musical endeavors under the guidance of celebrated singer/songwriters, Chad and Natasha Hudson. Sammi Rae Releases Reggaton Single “Nunca”

Captivating reggaeton singer Sammi Rae has released her single and lyric video for the track “Nunca”; available Friday June 12th on YouTube and all the major services.

With a vibe and a sound that brings to mind a sunset over an island bay, “Nunca” is a timeless tale about the perils of love. Once you really care about and trust someone, it seems like you are ultimately let down every time. Your kindness is taken advantage of, you are being taken for granted, and you end up getting hurt.

Well now, she’s done being judged and criticized for her caring ways! She’s not gonna change who she is for anyone, especially not someone who doesn’t appreciate or value her.

This past year Sammi Rae, who has been praised by audiences nationwide for her strong and soulful voice and sultry demeanour, found her voice in the reggaeton genre with several releases alongside Los Vegas; where the back and forth call and answer formula between the female/male and english/spanish is implemented precisely with a tension and passion that is palpable for any listener. Tracks included the sexy and unpredictable sound of "City Lights", the duo’s original collaboration “Escapate” and the bouncing singles "Baby Baila" and "Ella Se Atreve".

Dan Berk Releases Dreamy New Single "Exit Sign"

'This house doesn't feel like a home, making friends with the shadows on the walls' is the opening lyric to Dan Berk's newest single-"Exit Sign". The song is not just a song about finding ones self, but a love letter to Pop music, with all the elements that make up a perfect tune. Berk's voice is stunningly dramatic and soothing. His lyrical wit and charm is affectionate and calming. The song has a ghostly vibe with poetic words about soul searching and thoughts of inner resolution. "Exit Sign" showcases Berk's stylish personality, breathing new life into the world of Pop music vocalists. There are hints of Sam Smith's charisma and Ed Sheeran song hooks over chill beats tip toeing around blissful waves of synth.

Many years go by as we get a glance into a truly remarkable songwriter's vision, most come and go, some are here to stay. After previously releasing a batch of solid acoustic guitar tracks, Dan Berk is far and beyond most modern songwriters happening today with an everlasting fresh and exciting future ahead.

AP: At what point did you realize you wanted to be a professional musician?

DB: I realized I wanted to be a professional musician from a very young age. I have always been surrounded by music throughout my childhood. My dad is an amazing guitar player and my brother plays the drums so from about age 5, I remember vividly jamming with them and writing songs together. They kind of helped me develop as a musician and encouraged me to pursue it. I also remember watching TRL everyday after school and hoping some day I'd be up on that stage.

AP: Who are some of your favorite artists and influences?

DB: I really love Tori Kelly, Calum Scott, Lauv, Carrie Underwood, Charlie Puth, Bruno Mars.

AP: How do you compose? Which comes first, the lyrics or the music?

DB: The lyrics always come first for me. When I enter a writing session, I always come with a typed up page of my feelings and the story I wanted to convey in the lyrics. My songs are always about what I am currently feeling so it feels almost like a therapy session when I sit in a room with writers haha.

AP: Is "Exit Sign" about someone or something specific?

DB: Exit Sign is about my high school experience and how lonely it was for me during that time in my life. I had a falling out with my group of friends and also felt like I didn't fit in anywhere so that was really hard.

AP: What is your all time favorite song?

DB: I'd say my favorite song is either Sunday Morning by Maroon 5 or Fix You by Coldplay.

AP: What can we expect in the future, a full length album or video perhaps?

DB: I am really focused on this upcoming EP that will be released soon so that's my main focus as of now! Videos will definitely happen as long as corona permits it haha.

Dan Berk is a 25 year old singer/songwriter from NYC who is best known for his acoustic pop covers. He was born and raised on Long Island, NY and currently resides in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He's been featured on many of Spotify's editorial acoustic playlists and has amassed a whopping 73 million streams and 1.24 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Jennifer Truesdale Releases New Album “Through the Circle”

Boston based singer-songwriter Jennifer Truesdale returns to center stage with her new CD “Through The Circle”. Written and arranged by Jennifer and co-produced with David Minehan at Boston’s famed Woolly Mammoth Sound, Through The Circle is “a masterpiece of soulful and bluesy storytelling that embraces each listener into the thoughtful lyrics and brings them along on a feel-good journey.”

Moving seamlessly from blues, to soulful R&B, to jazz and gospel inspired melodies, Through The Circle speaks of love, loss, longing, laughter and the beautiful journey that is life. The first single, “I Need You Tonight”, is a sassy blues romp that is garnering attention from radio and press alike. From her belting vocals to the jazz-laden horns that support them, the truly bluesy lyrics make for a fine juxtaposition in a story of lingering love from a songwriters perspective - “I said I wouldn’t be lonely if you said goodbye // Looked out the window, watched you walk away, told myself I wasn’t gonna cry // I sat down to write a symphony but it didn’t turn out right // And oh I just need you, I need you tonight”. Other powerful tunes include the gospel inspired "We Will Not Be Forgotten", sure to be the new anthem for 2019 with inspiring and empowering lyrics that will have you singing them over and over again.

Jennifer is joined on the album by an incredible cast of Boston A-list musicians, many faculty members and alumni of Boston’s prestigious Berklee College of Music and the Boston Symphony Orchestra including: Joe Musella, Marty Ballou, Bill D’Agostino, John Mulroy, Tom West, Hiro Tokushige, Ririka Tokushige, Angel Subero, Joe Santerre, John Grant, Lydia Harrell and Kit Holiday.
